How long will my order take?

Everything is made to order, so please allow five to seven days of processing before your package is posted, then normal UPS Ground transit time on top. If you need something by a particular date, write to me before you order and I will tell you honestly whether it can be done.

What is Jesmonite?

It is a water based stone composite. It gives the smooth, cool, stone like finish you can see in the photographs, without the weight of concrete or the fumes of resin. It takes pigment beautifully, which is why no two poured pieces are quite the same.

Are your pieces food safe?

No. Everything we make is decorative and should not be used for serving food or drink.

Can I collect my order instead of paying shipping?

Yes, if you are in Austin or nearby areas. Choose "Local Pickup" at checkout, and I will email you as soon as your order is ready to arrange a time for pick up. Pick up location would be in South Austin.

Will my piece look exactly like the photograph?

Each piece is poured by hand, so the depth of color and the pattern of the marbling vary. That variation is the part I like best.

What comes in a paint your own kit?

Raw, unsealed plaster figurines, paint pots, brushes and instructions, boxed and ready to go. Kits with four or fewer figurines come with six paint pots and two brushes, and larger sets come with more. Where a kit offers a choice, you pick your pieces and your paint colors when you order.

Are the kits suitable for children?

They are made for adults, and for older children painting with an adult nearby. They are not toys and they contain small parts, so they are not suitable for young children.

Do you take custom orders?

Often, yes. Write to me at hello@nayvimakery.com with what you have in mind. Small batches mean there is usually room for something made just for you.
