Storm Geometric Heart Box

A geometric heart shaped box with a lid that lifts off, poured by hand and the two pieces are cast together as a set.

It is the right size for a ring, a pair of studs, a milk tooth, or whatever small thing wants keeping somewhere safe rather than somewhere visible.

The finish is smooth but the lid carries a fine pitted texture where the black pigment settles, so no two lids are the same. It is stone like, cool to the touch, with a soft sheen rather than a shine. The lid sits down into the base with a little weight to it.
Base and lid are poured separately, so the colour and pattern of the two are related but never identical.

🐦 HANDMADE, ONE AT A TIME
Materials: Jesmonite, pigment and sealer.

Size: with the lid on, it reads 4 inch wide, 4 in long, 2 in tall

Every piece is poured, demolded, sanded by hand and sealed here in my home studio in Austin, in small batches. Small air bubbles, tiny pinholes and slight variation in texture are natural in hand poured pieces. They are not faults, they are the fingerprint of a handmade cast. Colour and pattern vary, so the photographs show an example rather than the exact piece you will receive.

💧 CARE
Wipe gently with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap, then dry thoroughly. Never soak or place in the dishwasher. Avoid harsh chemicals, abrasives, direct heat and prolonged sunlight. Handle with care, may chip if dropped. Decorative only, not food safe.

Jesmonite is heat resistant but not fireproof. With lit candles, do not leave them unattended and extinguish once five millimeters of wax remains.
