The Golden Magnolia Trinket Dish

A layered magnolia flower, poured by hand in cream with gold veining running through the petals, and a small bud resting at the side.

It measures about six inches across at the petal tips, with the bowl itself about four and a quarter inches wide. Roomy enough for a watch, a few rings and whatever else lands in it at the end of the day, and it still sits comfortably on a bathroom shelf, a bedside table or a desk.

The petals sit in tiers rather than flat, so it reads as a sculpture that happens to hold your jewelry. The finish is smooth and stone like, cool to the touch, with a soft sheen rather than a shine.

Because each one is poured individually, the gold moves differently through every piece. Yours will have its own pattern.

🐦 HANDMADE, ONE AT A TIME

Processing Time: Each piece is made to order. Please allow five to seven business days before shipping. 

Materials: Jesmonite, pigment and sealer.

Size: 6 in wide petal to petal, inner dimension - 4 in petal to petal, 1.5 in tall.

Every piece is poured, demolded, sanded by hand and sealed here in my home studio in Austin, in small batches. Small air bubbles, tiny pinholes and slight variation in texture are natural in hand poured pieces. They are not faults, they are the fingerprint of a handmade cast. Colour and pattern vary, so the photographs show an example rather than the exact piece you will receive.

💧 CARE
Wipe gently with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap, then dry thoroughly. Never soak or place in the dishwasher. Avoid harsh chemicals, abrasives, direct heat and prolonged sunlight. Handle with care, may chip if dropped. Decorative only, not food safe.

Jesmonite is heat resistant but not fireproof. With lit candles, do not leave them unattended and extinguish once five millimeters of wax remains.
